Rep. Ilhan Omar accuses Israel of ‘terrorism’ following airstrikes

“We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Israeli forces are forcing families from their homes during Ramadan and inflicting violence. It is inhumane and the US must show leadership in safeguarding the human rights of Palestinians,” AOC wrote.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu introduced Monday that Israel “will not tolerate attacks on our territory, our capital, our citizens, or our soldiers,” vowing to retaliate for the assaults.

“Israel will respond with great force. We will not tolerate attacks on our territory, our capital, our citizens, or our soldiers,” Netanyahu stated, according to the Times of Israel.

“Those who attack us will pay a heavy price,” Netanyahu added.

Top Republicans within the House argued that Israel — a stalwart ally of the U.S. — has the precise to defend itself towards acts of aggression made by Hamas.
