Residents of Florida condo recount collapse

Survivors recalled the devastation that unfolded when a condo partially collapsed in Surfside, Florida.

Treptow was sleeping in his dwelling on the eighth flooring, reportedly had the identical thought.

“Three families that I know well,” he emotionally recounted to the paper, including he’s not hopeful they may survive.

Pablo Rodriguez, whose mom and grandmother are among the many lacking, stated his mom referred to as him complaining of “creaking noises” she heard a day earlier than the collapse, CNN reports.

“It was like a comment that she made off-hand, like that’s why she woke up and she wasn’t able to go back to sleep afterwards,” Rodriguez reportedly stated. “Now, in hindsight, you always wonder.”

Authorities haven’t introduced what triggered the constructing to collapse.
